Total Credits: 2 including 2 Behavioral Ethics - Non-technical
Ethics and Trust Trustworthiness and a commitment to ethical behavior are two sides of the same coin! We do not trust people who behave unethically and we must be significantly more cautious in dealing with people whom we do not trust. Research shows infusing authentic trust throughout an organization's culture has enormous payback potential in all aspects of doing business. People will do nearly anything for leaders they trust and resist or sabotage leaders they consider untrustworthy. Unfortunately, many business leaders simply assume people trust them when actually they do not. Others think authority and power substitute for trust or they sincerely believe people should conduct business on a “trust no one" basis. How do leaders gain and lose real trust? This session addresses the most important concepts and tips for building and maintaining trust and integrity in business culture and practices. This course was re-recorded and updated on 1/16/15. "
